We make our pans with exacting standards in small batches in the United States, machine-polish every cooking surface, and pre-season each one by hand. Most modern cast iron is mass-produced with a rougher finish. As soon as you pick it up, you'll feel the difference. We offer a 45-day trial to see for yourself.
Less than you think. Wipe it down after cooking, dry it well, and rub in a thin layer of oil. That's it. You don't need to avoid soap, you don't need to oven season it, and you don't need to baby it. Daily use is the best thing you can do for the pan.
